Mach7 Vendor Neutral Archive

A vendor-neutral archive that holds every department's imaging in one repository, stored in open standards.

One repository for every department's imaging

Imaging teams we work with keep hitting the same four problems: studies scattered across departmental archives, formats that will not move between vendors, access and audit requirements that grow every year, and storage that has to keep pace with volume.

The Mach7 Vendor Neutral Archive (VNA) is the single archive of record for imaging. It stores, indexes and distributes DICOM and non-DICOM data for every department, and federates from external systems so a patient's imaging record is complete without migrating it first.

Deploy on-premise, in the cloud, or hybrid

Your administrators route studies by rule, and reconcile, normalize, anonymize or edit data themselves, without raising a vendor ticket. The archive integrates with the EMRs, PACS and enterprise imaging you already run.

Key capabilities

  • One archive holds every department's imaging under a single patient index.
  • Normalizes DICOM tags on ingest, so studies from different vendors index consistently.
  • Role-based access, full audit logging and de-identification support HIPAA obligations.
  • Runs on-premise, in your cloud tenant, or across both, and scales with your storage.
  • Stored in open standards, not a proprietary format.

Important information

The Mach7 Enterprise Imaging Platform's built-in viewer is intended for clinical and quality-control review (reconciliation, merging, splitting, presentation states and measurements), not for diagnostic interpretation. Diagnostic viewing is provided by eUnity, a separate product in the Mach7 family. Mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis are not intended for diagnostic interpretation on mobile devices.
